Apparently , shortly before production commenced on ' The Humanoid ' , one of the most pivotal influential science-fiction classics of all time ,  another obscure outer-space opera was released upon the movie-going public. This other film went on to achieve cult-status among sci-fi afficionados, and is fondly remembered by cinema buffs with long memories.  It goes by the unlikely name of Star Wars.... Many reviewers deem ' The Humanoid ' as a mere Star Wars rip-off , a clone of its earlier , more famous cousin.  I , however , take the opinion that any similarities are mere coincidence  , that the creative Force behind each movie was merely drinking from the same cosmic well. The common notion that Humanoid is simply a cheap exploitative immitating copy cat movie ignores the creative spirit and magic of the film. Its a vast far-reaching galaxy , with room enough for both :) Below are some examples of some of these unfortunate similarities....

Lord Graal , aka ' Darth Samurai ' Gets it on with Bond Babe Barbara Bach We know who's lightsabre's bigger, Darthy Baby... Erotic movie legend Corinne Clery held captive. Hubba Hubba.. Both clearly shop at ' Big-Bad-Ass- Baddies-in-Black R Us.com 2 .... Metropolis. Name not derived from the successful Superman franchise of 1978. Honest... Dodgy old Ford-cortina covered with papier-mache and silver paint. Estimated cost : oh, a few lira.... Jedi mind tricks only work on the weak... NOT Italian movie-extras... Not lumbered with an effeminate British accented numpty.... Arf Arf War among the Stars Hopeless... ?

No luck with the ladies. Carrie Fisher held captive The worst hair-do in the galaxy.... Dum Dum Dum Dum-dee-Dum, Dum-dee-Dum...... Tatooine Nothing ever happens here... Lukes landspeeder It really does fly, you know.. Baddies that wear white ?!? Doesn't chase parked cars... Fiddling Star Wars A New Hope....
