Meeting Robert ' Ranger ' Englund
November 18th, 2006 , and I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Freddie Kruger favourite
Robert Englund, at the CollectorMania show held in Manchester G-Mex, England UK.
Of course, the majority of fans there were Elm Street fanatics, so it was quite a suprise when I presented Robert with my prized
Galaxy of Terror pictures for him to sign. He instantly remembered his character name, 'Ranger', and fondly reminisced over the movie, noting how Sid Haig was now an even BIGGER star than he was, how saddened he was at the news of lead actor Edward Albert's recent passing, and how the film had served as a training ground for many future players in the industry.
As to Ranger's fate at the end of the movie?
" Master only knows..."
