Further to the quality L'Umanoide coverage in it's second issue, Fangoria Magazine printed this fan letter in it's February 1980 edition: "..Could you please have another article on The Humanoid? I thought your first coverage was superb. When is the movie coming out? " Richard W. Murphy Lakewood, CA The response was the sad news that American movie fans dreaded to hear: "Plans for American release of The Humanoid are currently non-existant.
